This is held on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12pm for 0-5 year olds. It is a requirement that a parent or carer stay with and supervise their own children. This is a great chance for busy parents/carers to interact and have some special time with their children. As well as a great opportunity for children to learn to socialize and interact with other children of a similar age.  

The cost is $2 per child- up to a maximum of $5 per family.

All our equipment meets Australian safety standards and all age groups
(0-5) are adequately catered for.

Outdoors favourite activities include a giant sandpit, fantastic playground equipment (slides, tunnel, mini monkey bars etc), a huge selection of bikes, scooters and ride on's and a shaded area.

Inside the range of activities include play dough, puzzles, a planned and semi-supervised art activity, creative play with dolls, construction blocks, cars and trucks.

There is a kitchen equipped with tea/coffee making facilities for a well deserved refreshment for the big people after all that playing.
 
At the conclusion of the session, children gather for a story and some singing.

At Christmas time we have a small celebration, which includes a visit from Santa, and we participate in the Somerset Christmas Parade.

Playgroup is run entirely by volunteers, and a voluntary committee. We do ask parents/carers  if it is possible- to help in any way they can big or small with cleaning up at the end of the session.
