The Gruppo Italiano di Assistenza aims to ensure older Italians in residential aged care receive the best possible care with an Italian flavour. The Gruppo Italiano di Assistenza support elderly Italians by:

• Visiting older Italians in the community and residential facilities

• Organise a monthly Mass at Rosary Gardens

• Provide feedback on the care of residents to nursing home management

• Provide assistance in accessing cultural activities

• Fundraising

• Meeting every 6 weeks to discuss the needs of the older Italian community
