The Hobart Doll Club regularly holds short workshops at our meetings … past workshops have included Miniature Fans, Drafting Doll Patterns, Silk Paper Making, How to Make Doll Shoes, Making a Wired Bonnet, Miniature Hat Boxes, Miniature Writing Compendiums and our ever popular “Surprise Workshops”!

Workshops are run for a small fee to cover costs (usually around $4 or $5 per person) and materials are supplied, unless otherwise noted in the newsletter.

Our venue at the Kingston Adult Education Centre has plenty of room to spread out and lots of light so we’re not limited to the types of workshops we can run, although it’s always something “dolly”! If any of our members have topics they’d like to learn more about, we’ll do our best to run a workshop or have a guest speaker on the subject.
