The Burnie Farmer's Market operates as a
sub committee of the Burnie Show Society.
The Market is located at the Wivenhoe Show Ground,
off Anglesea Street and operates on the first and third Saturdays of each month
from 9.00 am to 12 noon.

The produce we offer include:
- fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs
- plants, seeds, garden supplies and
manure
- flowers and flower products
- seedlings
- eggs
- animals including poultry, pets and
pups
- jams and preserves
- honey
- home baking and bread
- a Farmer's Market Cafe

The objectives of the market are to:
- provide an opportunity for our growers
and products to sell direct to the public
- provide an outlet for producers of
interesting and fresh produce
- provide an opportunity for customers
to speak direct to growers
- provide customers with seasonal
bargains
- strengthen the connection with our
rural community
- encourage the development of regional
and rural enterprises
